Foo Fighters Wasting Light 2011 OZ Tour Kicks Off In Perth

An awesome spectacle to see the inspiration for our Foo's Gold tribute band, the Foo Fighters themselves in Perth!  November 28th 2011 was the day we were all craving for and it finally arrived.  Over 20,000 people packed NIB Stadium aka Perth Oval.  We were there capturing the sweat as Dave ran up and down the huge stage front and middle aisle (which went all the way and through the tent in the picture) !

Mustang Bar Review

Well what a turnout! Over 250 people packed the Mustang Bar in Northbridge to kick off the long weekend and the bar's 12th birthday.

Opening For Justice For All

As rehearsal studio buddies, Foo's Gold happily jumped at the opportunity to open for new Metallica tribute Justice For All in Perth's Armadale Town Hall.  Whilst room acoustics were challenging, sounds from both the bands were solid and faithful to their respective originals to the delight of attendees.  At the same time filling the suburb air with loud and unmistakeable tunes!

Foo's Gold Private Birthday Gig

What better way to celebrate a 30th birthday than with iconic grunge of the Foo! The wintery evening for over 80 guests loudly heated by two hours of Foo's Gold, led by talented singer guitarist Phil.  The crowd were treated to the tribute band's close interpretation of all the Foo Fighters hits including Breakout, Learn To Fly, All My Life, Everlong and Monkey Wrench as well as new hits Rope and Bridge Burning.  To top off the evening delicious cocktail pork ribs for all, oh yeah!
